Scholarship Information

Cadets are eligible for scholarships once they pass the DoDMERB medical exam, achieve at least a 2.5 term and 3.0 cumulative GPA, pass the Air Force official PT test, and are in good standing with the detachment and university.

High School students, you may be eligible for the High School Scholarship program (HSSP). This is a highly competitive program that offers 3 types of scholarships. Check out the HSSP site for more details.

The University of Tennessee now offers in-state tuition to ALL Air Force ROTC cadets, regardless of their state of residence.

While it’s not necessary to receive a scholarship to participate in the program, Air Force ROTC may help eliminate or lessen your financial burdens. Learn more about scholarship opportunities by visiting the AFROTC website.
